...two days ago. i wrote a paragraph, and then i couldn't remember what else i wanted my post to be about. i just remembered what it was that i wanted my post to be about. but now i don't have time to write what it was that i wanted my post to be about before i leave work. also i'm very short on sleep at the end of my third night shift in a row. as entertaining as it would be for you, i'm not even going to try.
here's the paragraph i wrote two days ago before i remembered what it was that i wanted my post to be about.
it is so nice to just be working 48 hours this week! i signed up for a bunch of overtime in the past few weeks - two weeks with 60 hours each and one week with 56 hours. i survived it just fine, but i do like getting to see jena more often, and having a little more time to get things done. my weeks of outrageous overtime will cease for a while now, since i'm starting online summer classes on monday. i'll be taking Intro to Sociology and Principles of Nutrition. in the fall i'll have Microbiology and the first semester of Anatomy & Physiology. i haven't taken any science classes since high school, and i'm actually looking forward to getting back into it. it will be a little more challenging to take classes during the day and have to work third shift, but since my classes are on monday and wednesday, i should be able to stick to working thursday, friday, and saturday nights most weeks. nursing school looks like it will take a little longer to get into and get through than i initially thought, but there's not much i can do about that, so i'm ok with it. it will definitely be worth it.
at that point i realized i couldn't remember what i had actually wanted my post to be about, so i stopped writing.
so instead of a post about what i wanted my post to be about, you get a post about forgetting and then remembering what i wanted my post to be about.
i have classes starting today and an invitation to write for wednesday, so i probably won't write a post about what i wanted to post about for a few more days. by then, i might or might not remember what that was.
